Information Requested On Available Shells / Going Public / Mergers / Acquisitions
You can purchase a non-trading shell. These go for about $75,000 for 90% of the company, $100,000 for 95% of the company and $ 125,000 for 97% the company. These companies are very clean, because they have never conducted any business. Included in the price is all the legal work to get listed on the OTC Pinks. This process will take an average of 9-12+ months. If you want to go to the OTCBB, you can go there directly or after you get listed on the Pinks. In either case it will take an average of 2 to 3 months longer and cost an extra $20,000.
You can also buy a company that is already set up with a shareholder base and ready to go to the market maker. This will usually save about 6 months time. These companies can usually get listed in 3- 6 months. You can purchase a non-trading shell with a shareholder base for $125,000 for 90% of the company, $ 150,000 for 95% of the company and $ 175,000 for 97% the company.
Alternatively, you can buy a company that is already listed on the Pinks for about $150,000 to $250,000 for 90% to 95% of the company. Thus, you will be listed immediately. For another $20,000 and an additional 2 to 3 months you can move up to the OTCBB.
Another alternative is to buy a reporting company with shareholder base that is not listed. This will cost about $100,000 to $200,000 (90 to 95%) and will take about 6 months to get it listed on the OTCBB.
Of course, as a final alternative, you can buy a trading, reporting shell. They are currently going for anywhere from $500,000 to $ 800,000+ for a 90-95% deal. Your company has to be extremely competitive in terms of the deal and the people behind it (management, investment bankers, IR firms), as each company in this category has about 8 to 10 deals in front of it that it is choosing from.
